PF Club published its report on personal financing in 7 cities, finding that Shanghainese are the best financing experts among the 7, while Beijingers don’t care much in this aspect.

Nearly every Shanghai family invest some money on funds or commercial insurances, and financial magazines are available in all the newsstands in Shanghai.

Shanghainese are famous for being prudent, so is their view of financing. Many Shanghainese witnessed the bear market in the past, thus today they are more rational and practical in managing their money.
